The elusive 'nice' top to wear with skinny jeans and heels for a night out?!

Can anyone help?! I want a nice 'going out' too!

I'm a size 12-bottom and 14-top, pretty short with big boobs, bit of a muffin top but good legs. I'm not too keen on my upper arms though.

I think that I'd really love something pewter/charcoal colour-though black would be ok, maybe with sparkles/lace/sequins and 3/4 sleeves! Or even flappy batwing sleeves. I also really don't like that material that's made of really thin stretchy jersey that clings to my fat bits making me look like a sack of spuds Grin. It needs to skim over my stomach/arse but not be a 'mum tunic'!

Has anyone seen such a beauty??

Try Mango, H&M, M&S, Zara?? Sounds like the kind of thing I've bought from or seen in all of those places over the last 18 months.

Good luck!

Phase eight often has things like that.

Yup, just thought Mint Velvet too. They've loads of stuff like that. Oasis do too, but they tend to be sleeveless (but cheaper!)

Lenia layered top from phase 8

No idea how to link but it sounds similar to what you want

(I have just bought it to wear to a wedding...i think )

Thank you for the replies!

I'm not keen on the Lenia tunic-I think that might look too maternity for my boobs! The gold one is lovely, but I'm not sure if the turn backs on the sleeves would make me look boxy and it also looks clingy.

I think I'm too fussy!!

I really want some sparkle.

Sorry-I've mixed two tops up. The Lenia looks like it would hang down from my boobs and the tunic is a bit long for my short legs.

It must be out there somewhere!

Have a look at Joe Browns website. They have some nice stuff in.

I get the Joe Browns catalogue actually-I haven't seen anything suitable in there. I love their stuff for the daytime but nothing evening like grabs me. Thank you for the suggestion though.

The Michelle Keegan range for Lipsy have some really beautiful blouses I have 4 that are ideal for going out, especially the ones with lace in them.

Have you noticed any of the long sleeved crossover tops, that end at the hips and are gathered at the bottom . A silky material, lots of them have a little cami built in to hide to much cleavage. They are cute. I think anyway.

I was looking for something similar recently. I tried loads of places with not much luck , but when I got to oasis I could have bought several of the tips there

I bought this in the end which they do in a pewter colour too.
