What nail colour will you be sporting this autumn?

I'll be sticking to the traditional deep berry shades mostly as I always gravitate back to pink and reds or nudes. They seem to work best with my skin.
What exciting combinations will you be wearing over the colder darker months?

I only ever wear plums and berry shades on my nails in the autumn. I ought to branch out but everything else looks too try-hard.

I bought most of the Essie autumn collection when we were in the US in September blush so I'm working my way through them!

Currently wearing an orange/brown colour, which looks better on than in the bottle.

I wish I was a seasonal nail colour changer! I never seem to bother with painting my nails as I always smudge one and they peel off within a day!
I've seen a gorgeous bright purple I'd love to wear though! Think it was by L'Oreal.

I live in a colour most commonly called black-red. Various brands, but always a dark brown/maroon/oxblood colour.

I keep a deep red, a grey/nude, and a kind of dusty rose as standard. Have just bought a delicate pink that reminds me of my old ballet shoes, and a colour No & are calling "neptune", which is a kind of blue.

I shall sob over the loss of my rouge noir type shellacs this autumn but my nails are so wrecked after a year's hardship of every two-weekly shellacs that I don't think I can do it anymore. Unbelievably, I have been the last person in the world to discover Dior Nail Glow. I have filed my nails down as short as I can and am now wearing this for a clean look. Nails look great but how I mourn the autumnal loveliness of a dark berry shade.

SunnySideForever Sat 29-Oct-16 23:44:00

Does anyone still bother with toes now that autumn is here?

justabigdisco Sat 29-Oct-16 23:46:24

Just done my toes in glittery black

Eastpoint Sat 29-Oct-16 23:46:45

Yes, always make sure my feet look good. They give me pleasure each time I see them. Currently very dark blue, almost black.

SunnySideForever Sat 29-Oct-16 23:47:06

Oh nice colour!!

But why bother - no-one sees them now that sandal season is over!!

Rudymentary Sat 29-Oct-16 23:54:25

I see them! and DH

welshgirlcharlotte Sun 30-Oct-16 00:14:17

Current look - although tend to go darker in the winter

Freshprincess Sun 30-Oct-16 00:22:54

Ive just bought a couple of nude caramel type colours after admiring a friends lovely nails.
I know that I'll use them once and sling in the cupboard and go back to dark red.

DameDoom Sun 30-Oct-16 00:47:30

welshgirl you have very elegant long nail beds but why is your little finger a totally different colour to the rest? I love the rest in pale though... v classy.
RIP - rest in pale.

PickAChew Sun 30-Oct-16 00:49:57

Fresh nail.

ImNotWhoYouThinkIam Sun 30-Oct-16 00:55:53

Oooo welshgirl you have beautiful nails!
Dame isn't the 2nd finger the same as the little one?

Anyway here's my (not very mature) nails grin
