Guess it depends on your office style

I wear a fake fur gilet but I'm known to be quirky and we are fairly casual

Is it just to arrive in or to wear as a jacket all day?

What's the style of the coat - pics/link might be helpful
I suppose what you wear it with might make a difference - fishnets might be s no-no!

Haha fishnets!

It's pretty tame but I've reached a stage where I think about these things now, think it's because I work with a load of ladies that wear 'mum' outfits!

Placemarking as I have two massive fake fur coats which I inherited from my superglam mum! I never have the balls to wear them anywhere that isn't formal, but I love them so.

Me either and I'm 40-ish.

Do you mean wear all day? That would be weird, but only because wearing any coat all day in the office would be weird.

I have a big suede coat with outlandish (fake) furry collar and cuffs, and a black fake fur like the one you linked to. I wear both to work.

I'm 39 - office is smart/casual, everyone else is boring conservative .

I'm known to wear the odd quirky piece here and there so I don't think my colleagues would be surprised to see me in my faux fur jacket. But it's a fairly relaxed public sector office where pretty much anything goes!
