Cigarette trousers hunt

thestylethatdecadesforgot · 19/10/2016 22:08

Can anyone help me find nice tapered trousers please for work? I think he style I like is cigarette, so not skinny or tight but definitey tailored. Possibly stretchy for comfort.

I tried on bi-stretch skinniest in Gap the other week and they were really good but they were 7/8ths length which I'm not sure about for winter and they had 5% spandex content which made them feel very shiny.

Does anyone have any suggestions please?

I got really nice cigarette jeans from next? They will probably have trousers in the same sort of style.

I recently bought slim cropped trousers from gap. They come to about 7/8 length on me but they have a very generous hem. It would be easy to add a little more length to them if the fit was good on you.

Banana Republic always do them, and they're very good. Also JCrew (but it's v over priced in U.K., so only good if a sale's on).

I got some that I love from TK Maxx they are Kew ones. I think I only paid about £12 for them but they fit well and have washed well.

Wow thanks for so many suggestions!

I went to next the other day and tried on loads but none were quite right, sadly.

I love BR and have had some fab trousers from Topshop in the past so thank you, will try those.

Boden Richmonds I have a suspicion I've ordered before and that they were extremely unflattering on my bum but will have a look again, thanks both!

Will also check out Kew, thank you!

Cos usually have some. I don't like anything else they do but they have good trousers. Yoox are also good.

I am obsessed with these from Reiss - they are a bit of an investment but the fit is amazing.

Came to say Boden Richmonds too. I have full length and 7/8s and find them flattering on my flat bum

BR sloane are very nice. Need to size down. I had a sales assistant chase me round the shop with smaller pairs very insistently! She was right though.

Mitchell would you mind telling me if the reins trousers are true to size? Would you size up or down? Thanks Smile

I'd like to see the Reiss ones in real life, they look too skinny for what I'm looking for but maybe better IRL.

Must go to BR. If gap did those bi-stretch ones in normal length I'd get them. Actually they do a tall so I could try those.

The TKMaxx ones actually looked quite nice tho conversely to the Reiss ones perhaps not as slim as I'd like! And they didn't have any in my size.

Thanks guys, keep the suggestions coming!

They are everywhere. Literally in every shop. It'd be harder to find a pair that aren't CTs.
