Nails - natural pinkish ?

Ok I have rubbish nails - try to look after them but they break easily etc. Even when they do grow they don't look great - I have functional hands and stubby nails - they don't suit long and the nail isn't domed or shaped nicely. Anyhow enough of that .

I was at a meeting yesterday and two of the ladies who I couldnt ask directly had lovely pinkish nails - quite natural but pink - could have been gel but was a natural pink - it wasn't cold or icy but looked warm- probably not making much sense but reminded me of the Clarins lip perfector colours - number 07. Any suggestions/ recommendations please as it really made their hands look polished - no pun intended

Essie make one called 'sugar daddy' that is a gorgeous polished natural nail hint of pink or Essie 'ballet slippers' for a more opaque colour. These are my go to 'polished' varnishes and look good on short ruined nails like mine too!

I also own the clarins lip perfector in 2 shades so I am thinking 'sugar daddy' is the Essie shade you're after. Boots online click and collect smile

'Ballerina' by Barry M is a lovely natural pink.

Dior Nail Glow is amazing and wears very well. No cheap but gives a beautiful pinky glow which makes nails look super healthy. And chips don't show grin

Another vote for Essie. They do lovely pinky nudes.

Yes to Dior Nail Glow, it's fab and actually lasts quite a long time, so you get your money's worth!

Mines an OPI one sorry, not entirely sure of shade but they have loads of nice pale pinks

I was coming on to say Essie sugar daddy or ballet slippers... Essie have lots of great nudes.

Another vote for Dior nail glow. Pretty much the only thing I use now.

I was also coming on to say Dior nail glow
But I'd quite like to try the Essie ones now!

Me too for Dior Nail Glow!

I wear it all the time - easy to apply, dries quickly and looks lovely. It's the only nail varnish I repeatedly buy.

Chanel Ballerina?

Also love Dior nail glow.

Huge thanks to all

I am going to look in my lunchbreak on Wednesday at Dior one plus Sugar Daddy for Esssie as they seem the nearest to the colour I saw - will report back

Let us know how you get on!

Partial update - apologies cannot do photos at mo. Tried 2 super drugs but no Essie.

Tried Dior Glow one in House of Fraser - looked good , has lasted so far ...
Found Essie today in Boots - horrible assistant but that's another whole thread- Sugar Daddy looks lovely - not as dark as the pink I saw on colleague but made nails look natural but better IYKWIM - had a more warm glow on me than the Dior one.

The quest continues !
