Need help finding a moisturiser

I need a new moisturiser, my skin is awful. It was fine whilst I was on the combined pill so obviously hormone related but I can't use hormonal contraception at the minute.

It is very red and has some dry flaky patches on my nose and cheeks. It also gets oily around my nose and chin and I get breakouts of spots and blackheads. I feel if I could find a moisturiser that deals with the redness and flaky skin then I could effectively use make up to cover up the spots.

I'm happy to spend more if a product really works. Would welcome any advice on rest of skin care routine as well.

You'll see more benefit from acid toning for the breakouts and blackheads than from a moisturiser. Specifically you'll want salycilic acid, Paula's Choice 2% BHA liquid it's one of the best out there. It will also help with redness as it's recommended to use with rosacea. You can order a sample bottle first to try and build up use slowly from every few days.

You sound dehydrated on top of oily, try getting a sample of Clinique's moisture surge moisturiser this should work for both the oil and dehydration issues.
