Any nice casual day dresses around?

Something I can chuck on with tights and boots for the Autumn. Feel stuck in a skinny jean rut!

Just looked in few shops but am having a day where I don't trust my own judgement! Anyone seen any nice ones?

I like the look of this but haven't seen it irl yet.

Wish this was black or grey

Thanks Remus , not so keen on the second one but the Joules one looks perfect for length, sleeve and neckline - a definite contender! Just a bit over my budget (was thinking more like £30-40)

Tweeter I can't post a link because it's from an app, but on the River Island website there is a nice dark denim shirt dress for £40?

I just got this. Love it. Will later with tights, boots, cardies and long sleeved Ts. It was £18 when I got it on a 25% off day, but a bargain still at £25! Sizing a little on the large side.

I know it's over budget and the quality isn't great for the price but even so I think Hush do this kind of thing very well and I bet someone will have an offer code if you ask.
The Tara dress is too short for me but I've seen lots of love for it on here:

What's Hush sizing like Floisme? Is an XL an 18?

Report
Floisme · 17/09/2016 19:49

Ineedmore I'm size 8-10 and normally I go for 'S' with Hush. I haven't bought masses from them though so worth checking with other posters.

I should add that their quality does piss me off but I think they're annoying good at casual dresses.

Have a look at People Tree, they have some good reductions at the moment and the clothes are very good quality

I bought a denim tunic dress from Boden clearance section last week which is good with tights and opaques. Just can't find the link now!

I bought this one in Pepperberry last week, comes in navy and plum. Really easy to wear with tights and boots, slightly over what you wanted to spend but it is lovely!

I am dithering about the Tara dress - reviews say the top is quite baggy though. I do love the ruched skirt.

Thanks all . I like that Hush dress, have seen it recommended on here before.

Should have said..I already have a denim pinafore which I love & denim shirts etc in my wardrobe so probably don't need anymore (even though I love it!)

Bikerunski , what is the neckline like on that dress? I don't like too high as not good with my boobs Blush Otherwise that looks like a great bargain!

I've just bought this which looks really sweet with opaque tights and flats:

And this to wear with chunky boots:

I love Autumn!

Was also coming on to recommend Hush Tara dress, easily dressed up or down. I bought the summer version originally and wore it so much that I have recently bought the long sleeved winter one. Also if you use this link you will get £10 off. HA2016 also gives free delivery.

(White Stuff has 20% off this weekend in store so it's within budget)

Tweeter it sits just below my collar bone, so quite high, but, the top is not that tight on me (I got an M and I'm 34F) so it's not too booby.

This looks great on. I've worn it with sandals when it was sunny and with boots and a slouchy cardigan when it was colder. Not sure why the model hasn't belted the dress up, it looks so much nicer when the belt is done up!
