Oh god, I have a school reunion to go to tonight.

And I've no idea what to wear - do I just go in jeans and a top (the invite does say casual) or do I go in my retro spotty dress? Confused I have just lost nearly 3 stone, so that's a bonus, but still, there are going to be people who I REALLY won't want to see there, but also plenty of people who I do!

Jeans and a top. And killer heels. If possible. "Effortless chic" fucking hate the idea of a school reunion

Yeah, I'm not too keen, either, but it kind of has to be done, because if I don't go, I might always wish that I had!

Well, DD and I popped out to Sainsbo's and I managed to find some grey jeans and some black suede ankle boots with heels that I think I'll be able to pair with a flowy top - should be alright, I think? Or have I committed a mn s & B crime? Confused

Do school reunions still exist? I thought the whole point of Facebook was to eliminate the need for seeing all the people you hate while having the opportunity to keep in touch with old schoolfriends while being able to carefully edit what pictures they see of you

Someone from our school organised a 'school reunion' every year. I think she's kind of missed the point of them.....

That and most of the people I went to school with still live in the same area & see each other socially nearly every week.

I went, and drank too much, too quick, and ended up ringing DH to come and pick me up - now I'm home, and in bed with DS, and a bit more sober, I'm wishing I'd not been so silly and held off on the booze a bit more, but hey ho, what's done is done. It was lovely seeing them all - even the ones I didn't want to see, funnily enough, and I wish I'd not been so anxious about it to hit the bottle so quick, but there we go, lesson learnt! :)
I now have to live it down on Facebook, very likely!
