Double denim?!

Is this always bad?! I've got a really nice light blue denim shirt which I was considering wearing with black skinny jeans, but I'm concerned about double denim!

What do S&B mnetters think? This is the one although I paid full price The jeans are black and slightly faded looking.

Oh I just realised that isn't the shirt (although almost the same) and that she's actually wearing jeans. Hmm.

Black jeans and a blue denim shirt is fine imo, I find two blues together the issue

I wear a pale blue denim shirt with black skinny jeans, or black denim dungarees, also a dark blue denim jacket (not all three at once though!). I wouldn't wear blue jeans or a denim skirt/dress with a denim shirt or jacket.

Agree it's the all over one colour denim that's the problem. Light blue & black sounds like it could work.

I wanted to try on a denim dress in monsoon tonight but was scared the all over denim would make me look like an extra from Prisoner Cell block H.

Sex that's definitely a look I'm trying to avoid!

Thanks all, think I'll wear that today then.

As long as the jeans are dark and a flat colour.

I don't think it's either bad or good. It's a fashion thing that was perfectly acceptable in the 80s and I keep hearing the 80s are back.

Fuzzy that was the look I was going for, however when I put the shirt on I have lost enough weight that it looked massive and a bit daft.

Yay for losing a dress size but boo for having to spend more money!

Good for you felicia! Losing weight is the best excuse for more clothes

Absolutely! I've still got at least two stone to go but I've gone from an 18/20 to a 14.
