My baby-hair is growing. And growing. And ruining the look of my hair.

I've always liked my hair, it's thick and quite well-behaved, and there's always been a bit of babyhair around the edge of my hairline that hasn't bothered me.

But over the last three years it's been growing. (I've been paying attention to nutrition and my nails are much stronger, so I wonder if it's linked?) It's a fine texture and it makes my hair look horribly broken, when in fact if I gather all the frizz from my hairine together, my normal hair still looks fine! I feel I can't tie my hair back, because my head looks like a crazy frizzball - just loads of fine hair shooting off in all directions!

I'm toying with the idea of just getting some scissors and chopping it off. Would that be a bad move?

No-one else has this issue? Right, I think it'll have to be the scissors...

I have this problem! It's especially worse since having babies (bloody kids! Wink).

I've got no solution but I wouldn't think cutting it will help, surely that will make it look thicker and more obvious!

Hairspray? Just enough to tame tame the baby hair - maybe apply to a brush and smooth down?

I get tons of baby hair! I keep expecting it to grow up in to adult hair but it doesn't want to Sad
I had my hair styled to accommodate baby hair and it's mich easier. The sleek and groomed look just doesn't work if you want to wear it up.

I just found this www.xovain.com/hair/i-cut-off-my-baby-hair-tufts

My baby hair is like the authors, except not just at the sides, it's all around, like an extremely tatty fringe. I'll give stronger controlling products a try, and if that doesn't help then instead of hacking it off at home, I'll ask a hairdresser to do it for me!

Get an old mascara wand, clean off the mascara, spray it with hairspray and use it to tame the hairs. I do this with my frizz!

I have the WORST post partum hairloss regrowth, it's like a halo of long baby hair all around my head, even at the back. Front, sides, back, if I have a ponytail it looks ridiculous. It looks better if I can be bothered to straighten it and some parts are maybe 3inches long now. I use hair bands for the gym and it looks way better and neater. That's about the extent of my advice 😄 Hairspray just makes it less voluminous, it still sticks out.

Wow she looks great having cut her baby hair off! I'd have big bald patches on my widows peak if I did that though! Too scared!

And surely it'll just grow back spikey?! I have the same hair and straightening and Kirby grips help. But I still have a frizzy halo at the front
