Am I too skinny?

I want you to be totally honest.
Do I look too thin?
I always get comments insinuating that I musnt eat much etc.
Would be nice to get people's opinions who if they walked past me in the street what would they think?
Could I do with adding some extra weight?
I don't mind honesty either.

I think you've got a lovely figure. Your boobs look a good size so it doesn't make you look skinny iykwim.

Why do you care what other people think? Are you happy? That's what matters.

Yeah I don't mind how I look.
I just get a little paranoid when people Make comments.
I'm self conscious and I thought by the time I reached my 30s it would go away but sadly it hasn't.

You have a great figure, and no you are not too skinny. I'd love to have your body type thin frame with boobs. I look like a 12 yr old lad - straight up and down no boobs Grin

You look lovely, not too skinny at all. Don't take too much notice of what others say - it's so rude to comment on anyone else's weight.

Are you happy?
Are you a healthy weight ie a healthy bmi?
Are you able to eat a good diet that doesn't make you miserable by denying even the tiniest of treats?

If the answers are yes then your fine!

I think you are slim but you have good boobs and have curves at your waist and hips, you have shapely legs and you are not somone I'd go oh my goodness she looks ill she's so skinny if I passed you on the street if that helps.

You look like a slim 'inverted triangle' shape in that photo- so shoulders wider than hips - does that describe you? Very slim hips8 and legs tend to attract those kind of comments (I used to be that shape; have unfortunately bloomed into an apple shape now). You can't help your body shape and you look healthy to me!

You look nice. Normal and certainly not too skinny.

Who is saying you are too thin? Have you lost lots of weight recently.
I lost two stone and had people 'concerned' about how thin I am and I'm a size 12.

I'm about 8 stone 4 at the min.
I've always been the same weight ..when I was 13 I looked like I had been living in a 3rd world country for years (I ate loads)
My mum and Aunty are the same so I guess it's genetics.
It's friends who comment ..one in particular.
Everytime I eat I get "oh god what's your secret" or "skinny Minnie"

You do look really slim but I don't think you look as if you don't eat. Your knees arent sticking out at the sides or wider than your legs. They are all in proportion and you have boobs and curves. You just look naturally slim.

I eat all sorts and I just can't seem to fill out.
I spent years trying and all it did was make my face bloat but my body didn't change.

If your confidence is that low I don't think asking for people to comment on your appearance online is the best way to go about things Confused

Plus one pic means nothing, what height/ weight/ clothes size are you. I'm a size 16 in some pics I look quite slim in others I'm like a baby hippo

Lots of (women especially) say comments like that which come from a place of trying to compliment you while being envious they can't have it themselves. Some are trying to be nasty but others are saying it in the same way they would say ooh I love your hair I wish I could grow mine that long or wish mine was as thick type way.

Honestly if your eating enough (of the right foods) and your health is ok then ignore them!

Your friends just complimenting you. I don't think that insinuates she think's you are too thin or don't eat. She can clearly see you eat and is just saying you are still slim but are obviously eating amount she can't get away with. Same as me and my sister. She can eat whatever she wants and not gain weight and has never been over an eight. Even whilst pregnant she was in her size eight jeans still. I look at food and gain a stone.

They are jealous. Ignore comments. When i was around 17, i would get the same. Nasty horrible comments. I became obsessed with trying to put on weight but i just couldn't. I am now much older and no such luck. Trying to get the weight off is the issue and keeping it off. Think yourself lucky to have fabulous genes :)

Too thin for what? Other peoples tastes?! That's honestly ridiculous and you need to work on your self-esteem if you are really thinking about possibly changing your appearance/diet just to give someone else a more pleasing view. Have you thought about counselling?

Obviously you are slim, some people like that and some people don't. What matters is your health. Are you quite fit and able or do you struggle with physical activity? Do you enjoy your diet? Do you have a healthy attitude to food or do you obsess about it or avoid eating in front of people? Is food and/or weight a serious concern of yours, do you think about it a lot?
