joules
For every day/school run/work
I am unsure about the proper collar, it looks like it doesn't belong there. And for some reason it seems aging.
I am also unsure about the shiny gold buttons.
Yay or nay?.

I like it, and I don't even like gold normally.

Great price for what it is, too.

Yes, it's lovely.

user1473156259 Tue 06-Sep-16 11:43:22

It looks really elegant!!!!

RJnomore1 Tue 06-Sep-16 11:44:46

I like it too but it seems to be out of stock in all sizes

Maudlinmaud Tue 06-Sep-16 11:45:58

Lovely. I actually have this and paid full price, so slightly peeved to see you got a bargain. Go for it.

It's a no from me - reminds me of the cagoules my granny would buy from C&A in Huddersfield in the 80s.
The gold buttons are plain odd and cheap-looking (and could be why the coat is so heavily discounted?)
Sale or not, you can do better for £50.

keeponkeepinon Tue 06-Sep-16 11:59:11

That's just it, where can I do better? I want a warm waterproof that properly tapers in at the waist (not just pulled in by ties which can look oddly bulky on my short waisted frame) is a nice colour /fabric and costs around £50?
I'm struggling!

keeponkeepinon Tue 06-Sep-16 12:09:35

Seems to have got lots of thumbs up though!

Runningupthathill82 Tue 06-Sep-16 12:12:24

It's probably just me - ignore me and go with the majority!

JaneJeffer Tue 06-Sep-16 12:25:22

I have this www.tog24.com/duffy-ladies-short-jacket-dark-midnight.html. It's nicely fitted and so cosy. In your price range.

Spiderpigspiderpig Tue 06-Sep-16 12:28:19

I don't like it either, again because of all the gold buttons. Looks cheap.

Loyly Tue 06-Sep-16 12:31:15

Honestly, I don't like it because to me gold buttons always make clothing look really cheap.

Oldraver Tue 06-Sep-16 12:36:48

At that price buy it and see what it looks like on you.

I ma averse to gold trimmings though they seem very prevalent these days

keeponkeepinon Tue 06-Sep-16 13:19:06

I've got it, it looks bulkier on me than on the model. Hmm, I love a bargain but I'm not 100% on this one.

Dowser Tue 06-Sep-16 13:22:28

I liked it

Dowser Tue 06-Sep-16 13:24:28

Is this a bit pink

RJnomore1 Tue 06-Sep-16 13:45:00

Is it available in store because it's completely sold out on line

keeponkeepinon Tue 06-Sep-16 14:14:15

I got it online before it sold out. I've only just collected it from the post office this morning. It'll be warm anyway. I am struggling to find anything nice for around the same price tbh.

that pink one is nice but not in my size. I might try a sea folly to see what thats like, I know its not warm but I am thinking woolly jumper under and big scarf.

RJnomore1 Tue 06-Sep-16 14:20:24

I do like it. I wish I'd seen it myself!

keeponkeepinon Tue 06-Sep-16 14:23:22

I'm mid thirties and don't want to seem too middle aged before my time. I'm feeling that this could put me in this category. Why is the jacket I have so much thicker/bulkier than the one in the pic? It just doesn't sit like that at all!

Runningupthathill82 Tue 06-Sep-16 14:40:15

We need a photo, OP! Then we can give an honest yey or nay.

keeponkeepinon Tue 06-Sep-16 15:44:45

blush my self esteem isn't stretching to that at the moment. ...sad

Runningupthathill82 Tue 06-Sep-16 15:52:58

Oh no! I'm sure you look great smile

keeponkeepinon Tue 06-Sep-16 17:14:29

Because I am short waisted and ample chested the waist bundles up. I'm halfway to accepting I will never get a sensible coat that gives me a figure so just go with it and get the seasalt seafolly instead?
