Catalogue keeps arriving for the previous owners who moved out over 2 years ago Hmm

Had a browse today. God it's hideous. I mean i'm not exactly fashion forward but who wears this stuff?

Me. I love it.

Oh it's awful isn't it. I bought a top once, the seams were off and the fabric was cheap.

Different folks and all that!
I like some of their stuff. Their jeans are a good fit for me.
I wouldn't wear everything on their site but any I do have wash and Wear really well.

I bought a gorgeous pair of suede boots from them about 4/5 years ago. They're fantastic! Everything else I've seen is utter shite Confused

Ha ha! Are you me? My previous house owner still has this delivered, I was massively disappointed when I realised how crap it was. At first I thought it was because I had no taste but 3 catalogues later I've realised its not me after all!

Bought a winter coat from them recently. Loved it. Some of the stuff is very arty.

It's not to your taste. No need to be rude.

I don't give a shite about being fashion forward. I love some of my Joe Browns stuff. The quality has declined with time imho but the style is still pleasing.

Some of their stuff is nice. Just be selective and buy what you like. Better than Boden crap.

ShowOfHands, shall we flounce off in our floaty tunic tops, giving not a fuck?

I'm not a fan, it's too folksy for me, without the quirkiness and pretty part of being folksy.

I lust after Joe Browns clothes - but they only go up to an 18, and I'm currently a 20. Working on it, and may be there by Christmas, in which case I'll be treating myself. I can see it wouldn't be for everyone - I personally hate Boden and Zara and most other conventional clothing brands - each to their own!

I love joe brown clothes... Wouldn't life be boring if we were all the same

Welllllllllll Furry, Simply Be do Joe Browns in bigger sizes, just in case you wanted to have a look....

I've had a few really nice things, one was a gorgeous grey wool felt tunic with asymmetric hem. I sold it when I lost weight and quite regret it, it was perfect for winter.

I'd never heard of them but have had a browse and I'm now in absolute love with some of the coats!
I'll have a proper browse later but I think some of their things are fabulous.

I lust after a coat. It's going to be my reward when I reach my goal weight.

Woot, thanks for the info re Simply Be - I may or may not have just ordered from there :)

I have a dress I love. It's old so I doubt I can find a picture. nothing has appealed since. There are brands that upset me a whole lot more though.

I love some of their stuff! It's almost a bit like desigual which I love but can be a bit pricey.

I love Desigual. I have a Desigual coat then I discovered Joe Brown's.

I used to love Joe Browns in my younger days but I'm not as 'boho' looking now. It used to be good quality but the last few things I bought from there (probably ten years ago) were really poor quality, cheap
stitching etc.

The men's range can be ok, DP got a lovely pea coat from J B last year.

The women's clothes, not so much. It's mostly hideous patchwork frilly monstrosities with the occasional ok thing thrown in. Most of it looks straight out of the '90s.

I have a few things from it I like. It is quite Boho so if you don't like that it's not for you.

I find Zara, River Island, Whistles and Boden dire.

If we all liked the same stuff we would clash with other people all the time.

It's the English Desigual, isn't it? I'm not a huge fan, but I can see the appeal.
