Will I regret this expensive purchase?!

I LOVE this jigsaw cardigan. I have birthday money that would pay for half of it. It's so much for one cardigan though (for me anyway, appreciate others might have bigger clothes budgets).

I'm sure I would get lots of wear out of it. I could also probably get a cheap weekend away for less....

That is gorgeous. Thank goodness it is the wrong length to suit me or I'd have had to have it!

It's very stylish, but more of a jacket than a cardigan

I usually first one in with the 'how much????Shock' but actually that's not too outrageous for what it is. I'm always cold so would get a lot of wear out of a cardigan that is smart enough for work but not too much for casual wear.

Do they have it in John Lewis?
I always put the things in my basket and then wait

I always buy Jigsaw but will only pay half the price for them
Believe it or not, within just a few weeks my coveted items are half price and then I press the buy now button

Have never missed out in any item I wanted this way

I think it is gorgeous and you would get your money's worth from it.
You could wear it with an awful lot of different things.
I want one Envy.

That cardigan is right up my street. I love navy too. One of my favourite colours to wear.

I'm sure you will get a lot of wear out of it. The colour is great and I imagine it would go with most things.

If I hadn't have spent a ridiculous amount of money in the last week I would have got it!

Gorgeous, very wearable. Agree that it's not expensive for what it is. If you bought it, what would you have to pass up?

Just checked to see if they have my size (which they don't) Probably a good thing for me! Lol.

I think it's probably worth it if you will wear it a lot, but will it stand a lot of wear? I've never had any knitwear from jigsaw but I have had a lot of knitwear that bobbles and then looks awful, pretty early on which is very disappointing. Maybe someone with experience of jigsaw knitwear quality will come along soon ...

It's a yes from me 😄

I have a jigsaw scoop neck top. Not the same thing i know, but it has washed well and not bobbled in the wash if that's any help?

That's lovely. I'd get so much wear out if it. All my favourite clothes, the ones I wear a lot and feel good, wash well, suit me etc, were expensive and a wrench to buy. I'm coming to realise that cheap clothes are s false economy. If you love it, can see yourself wearing it a lot, and won't need to go without food or shelter to buy it, the buy it.

It's beautiful but I often have a practical angle over things like this. Too casual for a special occasion, but not practical enough for regular wear. The high collar is lovely but no buttons means it will blow open or nor be warm.
I would feel uncomfortable having fabric so high on the neck especially in wool.

Another go for it here op Grin I think if you love it and will get a lot of wear out of it then do it! If it'll make you feel happy wearing it then it's worth it in my book Smile It's lovely.

Yes do it it's lovely and Classic as long as you don't shrink it will get years of wear

Ps
Wool can be de-bobbled!

I hate wool. Also OP how would you clean this garment?

Get it. Expensive for a cardigan maybe, but a true bargain within the jacket budget Grin

I'm biased as I have a suit made from this material. Wolford not Jigsaw but similar style. It's a fantastic material to wear and is a perfect bridge between smart and casual. Particularly good in winter over polo necks but cool enough to wear all round. If there's a matching smirk available, do think about getting that too.

Outstanding find and I'm sure you won't regret it Smile

Smirk = skirt.

Smirk! I was thinking "God I'm behind with fashion, what's a smirk? Do I need one?"

Thanks for coming back to clarify foreign Grin

It's machine washable!!

It's really lovely op and 100% merino wool which is both durable and warm. Considering half of it is birthday money if you can afford it I would say treat yourself - from past experience otherwise you'll end up buying something half the price and it will never be the same.

I have some lovely Jigsaw knitwear and it wears well.

I can't wear wool either. However the style is absolutely gorgeous.

I tried that on today in grey! Was really beautiful.

I was after something a little less structured though and bought a kind of short poncho by Jigsaw instead.

Looks nowhere near as classy in grey though- and I adore grey!
