Biker boots and A/W 16

I have a pair of flat, sheepskin lined biker boots which I bought a couple of years ago and love to bits. However, while surfing the net over the last few weeks and feeding my boot addiction, I've been struck by the conspicuous absence of said boots from this season's offer.
Have they turned into the footwear equivalent of bootcut trousers? And if so, is this likely to be a permanent shift? I would hate to have to say goodbye to them as (a) they're dead comfy and (b) I'm still working on the cost-per-wear.
