Patterned trousers - recommendations please!

So I'm 12 weeks pregnant and normally live in jeans but due to the heat I bought a pair of black/white patterned cotton trousers with an elasticated waist - such comfort!! I was hoping to get away with wearing them to work instead of ridiculously uncomfortable black formal trousers too.

Unfortunately I bought them from Peacocks (spit) and they've come undone at the seams before I've even had chance to wash them!

Can anyone recommend any of a better quality brand? Ideally straight cut - I hate the ones that are fitted around the ankle.
