Would I be stupid to tint my own eyebrows?

My eyebrows are fine, pale and fairly sparse (naturally - not overplucked). I swim / sweat a lot and they don't 'hold' tint for long.

I'm tired of paying through the nose for professional brow tinting. Anyone do their own? What do you use? Do I risk burning my face off??

Hi I do mine every few weeks with the eyelure stuff. Quick and easy.
May look darker at first
Always get lots of compliments after but no one knows what has changed !

Bizarrely, I just found this is in the bathroom cabinet. (Bought ages ago for lashes and chickened out!) The same as Eyelure, no?

Would I be stupid to tint my own eyebrows?

I use Niceneasy root touch up for my eyebrows, mainly cos there's a more subtle range of colours.
However my brows are quite thick and dark, just with a lot of rogue white ones - skin staining could be a problem if your brows are sparse.
Reminds me, must do mine today

I use Just for Men, the beard and moustache one. Seems to work more quickly!

I tried that Eyelure stuff and it didn't work at all. My brows are like yours I think OP. I left it on for twice the recommended time after it didn't work th first time, and still no joy Angry

I am tempted to use Just for Men!!!

Seriously do, I find it much better. I don't leave it on for the full five minutes, though.

I buy tint from Amazon which is the same as they use in the threaders I go to. It's called Strictly Professional and works better than the Boots stuff. I use brown for brows, blue/black for lashes. You need to buy the tint and developer separately.

I also use the strictly professional tint, it's the same stuff they sell in salon services to beauticians. You can't buy it over the counter unless you have a trade card. I also recently bought a boots sleek eyebrow kit for filling in which I would thoroughly recommend

I buy refectocil from Amazon - do my eyebrows every two weeks and it's brilliant. Plus saves a small fortune Smile

I do mine but I also buy strictly professional from Amazon, I line the top and bottom with Vaseline, then slap the dye on then remove the Vaseline using a cotton bud to get a reasonable shade. They look a bit thick for the first few days yen they are great, I have the blonde hairs removed professionally with threading.

I posted a similar thread recently and just did my eyebrows and lashes the other night - I thought my eyebrows didn't look dark enough at first, so I put more on! They are a bit darker than usual, but not too bad and I know it will wear off. The lashes are great.

All pretty easy and way cheaper than having them done at the salon Wink

Another refectocil user here. Dead easy, cheap, quick.

Like RandomDent I use Just for Men beard and moustache dye. Same as eyebrow tint but you get much more for your money. I wouldn't use it on my eyelashes but do on my ultra fair brows and it's brilliant. Read about it in the Guardian, if that adds credibility.
