So after months of not buying and maternity leave, I hit town today to get my return to work wardrobe sorted !

I got a gorgeous all saints coat (reduced in sale)
New trainers for gym
Loafers
A zadig Voltaire top I admired last year in TK max!

I needed some trousers and tops but couldn't find anything flattering/ I liked.

Spotted a pair of ankle boots in stone colour in office I ll probably order too as need a pair and will get lots of wear from.

I know it s a bit early for Autumn and stuff only coming in, but anyone else spotted anything nice about ?

A joules quilted jacket
Navy cord skirt and a pale pink jumper both from tesco.
A burnt orange cardigan from superdry.
I've got my eyes on a blue cord blazer in boden, a pair of velvet boots and a bobble hat Grin

I haven't bought anything this weekend - mainly because payday isn't til Wednesday for me!!
I've been browsing online though.
I have my eye on some black patent loafers from Next, black heeled ankle boots from Clark's and a grey coat in Topshop.
This is my favourite time of year for new clothes.

I've taken delivery of a Topshop coat, and a ruched skirt from Hush - so pleased with the skirt I've ordered it in the other colour. I got some black suede Chelsea boots in Office a few weeks ago too. On my list is a black crew-neck jumper and a big parka.

I agree blue I love this time of year, for shopping and in general! I still have a good bit of baby weight that just won't budge so I dot. Want to buy too much, but as the only things I ve really bought in the last year have been bare basics to get me through I feel like I need a little bit of fashion to keep me going.

I love th sounds of the super dry cardi, and the hush skirt

I treated myself to a new bottle of perfume (Lacoste Pour Elle - Sparkling) and a body wash from Superdrug and got 20% off with their loyalty card!

Yesterday I was ogling some cable knit jumpers in H&M but the choice was navy, grey or pink and I don't really need anything more navy or grey.

And after buying Tea Tree facegel and cleanser for DS, school shoes for DD and a vest top for DD , I was ready to run.

I'm taking DD to London , I'll have a nose about then.

We have a New Life store in our town. Today I got:
A white ruched sleeve blazer (River Island)
A linen mix skirt (Whistles)
A white stuff boat neck top
A lightweight blue blazer thing ( not sure on make but fairly cheap I think)
The whole lot was £22.50. I love New Life!

I have also ordered the Hush ruched skirt in burgundy. There is a £10 voucher to use with Hush if you follow this link hush.mention-me.com/me/referee/registerko/3989608/22739627/em/0f8d9c5e247c4e42016a688680310b9421cc1a52/fe/cw

And you can use it with the code Wearhush for an extra 10% off and free delivery.

I also bought this black jumper from New Look (somewhere I don't often shop) and it's lovely. A nice alternative to a black polo neck. It's a lovely soft knit.

A pair of gorgeous sapphire earrings from the QVC outlet store. It's not often I treat myself but they were an absolute bargain. Certainly wouldn't have been able to afford them at full price.

Thanks for the Hush code fozzy, I finally bought the ruched skirt, let's see how it looks on :)

I've gone eBay crazy, parcels keep arriving that I've forgotten about Blush

I've also bought a lovely boden tankini, and a couple of pairs of Next tapered trousers which have to be the most comfortable and flattering trousers of all time!

Your welcome BearFoxBear. I would like some tapered trousers for work, which ones did you go for and what size are you?

A fab white stuff bag - it's got a shoulder strap as well as cross body, nice and big for all my junk essentials, I love it Smile. Exactly what I'd been looking for (and much cheaper than the Joules one I had my eye on! Halo)

Oh and I am also tempted by the hush burgundy skirt, I bought it in black and green over the summer and have worn them loads. Also like the look of the Tara dress. Thank you for all the discount codes, may go and have a little look now...
Blueyed I also have my eye on some clarks boot - I think there's a 20% discount code around at the moment if you google it.
Love autumn!!

fozzy I got the Next Black Workwear Tapered Trousers (£22) and a printed pair for going on holiday. So comfortable!

I'm a 16 (but slowly shrinking) with a post c-section belly, so I hope that the Hush skirt is forgiving!

I forgot that I also got a brilliant tan cross body Radley bag from eBay for £20 Smile

Maybe I should stop spending!!

Just ordered some skinny jeans from Boden in clearance - very pleased as I really like their jeans. Also bought a coatigan from Sainsbury's which is lovely. Am on the look out for that perfect pair of Autumn boots now, I start looking every August- September and still haven't found the absolute perfection that I'm looking for. I have a picture in my mind of them but nothing ever quite fits the bill.

Thanks BearFoxBear. I'm a 14 but I've only seen the trousers worn on very thin models. Good to know they are flattering on more curvy figures. Will order them and try.

I have bought (in pounds)

  • a navy stretch velvet skirt - 15 - from our local hospice shop
  • a Jaeger dress - about 60
  • a Jaeger jacket - about 30 (may have an interview coming up)
  • a Jaeger necklace - about 30

various bits from the Boden clearance, many of which are likely to go back.

I've bought:

£167 worth of work tops from Oasis Blush

These loose knit trousers from Gap. Not arrived yet but they look like the type I've been looking for since my trusty top ship pair gave up the ghost 2 years ago.

This weekend I've bought for myself:
Top shop tall white Joni jeans £10 - probably too late for summer 2016 here but may take on upcoming girly weekend in Dubai
Top shop tall navy cigarette trousers £10 - summer weight but have upcoming work trip to hot country requiring modest dress that they should cover a day or two of - hard to get long enough trousers for me so pleased with these
Boden navy wrap top £14 - clearance plus 20% off, 3/4 sleeve so will use on same work trip if not too fitted
Boden Ruched vest tops in black and navy/white stripe £12 each - clearance plus 20% off and stashable for next summer

For DD
Top shop tall slip dress £7 - summery but will get worn to a party in next couple of weeks, we have a tyranny of don't wear same outfit twice!
Top shop tall stripey top £5 - summery but ideal for upcoming half term trip to southern state of USA
Top shop grey bralet £1 - may send to father Xmas
Top shop crop tshirt £3 - half term
Top shop dungaree shorts £15 - half term
Top shop shirt £7 - father Xmas
4 items of top shop jewelry £7 (sale plus 2 for one - theoretical full price cost of £38) - father Xmas
Top shop trainers £5 - for half term trip with a view to throwing out on way home if they've taken a lot of punishment
Top shop black slipper shoes £7 - she has Docs for school this year so these will be a spare pair for occasions like concerts with all black dress code where something daintier required
Top shop big check scarf £5 - father Xmas
Top shop beach bag £5 - not sure about this so will show DD now to see if she will use it
Top shop weekend bag £7 - father Xmas

For DDs friends birthday
Top shop tall ink Jamie jeans £15 - we'd had a discussion when I was giving them both a lift the other day about how these are her favourite cut of top shop jeans and how only 36 inch inside leg is long enough so thrilled to snaffle these for her 15th birthday. We're the same height, 5ft 10, but 30 years ago at her age I gave up on wearing jeans as they were never long enough!

So not moved on to Autumn shopping yet but would be rude to say no to such ridiculous bargains. I have got a couple of things stashed from the start of summer sales including some toga pulla boots and a gorgeous green layering top which I am looking forward to getting out though!
