I know we are going grey with style, but....

are there people (famous slebs we can use pics of?) or us normal folk who were going grey then decided to hit the dye bottle again?

Who honestly thinks they look better going grey (and this is thing... starting to go grey, nowhere near the cool funky steely grey) and who thinks they look worse?

Am wavering!

I go between going grey and then bleaching it again. I have very short hair so it doesn't take long.
Tbh last time I bleached it I instantly regretted. I put a silver blonde through it but it fades really quick.
Also I over bleached last time and my hair is breaking off taking forever to grow.
I'm very white at the sides (front) and it gets darker as it goes back.

Coco your hair colour is loveley, mine is still a medium / dark brown but the dishwater brown with grey coming through slightly....pah... If I could just haveit grey overnight I'd happily do that!

Cheeseandmarmite, i used to use the Live colours, think it was the bitter chocolate one I used.... they are fab aren't they?

I've just about grown out my colour (curly dark hair, to my shoulder when the curls are stretched out - has taken 18 months and about an inch to go). Colour was a bit lightler/redder than my natural do brown. I was very surprised how little grey there was actually - it is noticeable, but overall effect is dark rather than grey . All that hassle of colouring it and not really sure why I was doing it! Hair is in much better condition without the colour. I'm glad I did it.

I finally got to the fantastic steel and silver stage last year. It's magnificent and suits me far better than the bog standard almost black colour it had been. I found myself wearing a lot of grey to play it up and then, suddenly, I was a grey woman. I've been putting pillbox red, then blue, then purple semipermanent colours at the front. They don't cover the grey, I'm still very obviously grey but sort of grey with attitude.

I'm enjoying the non covering colour and it fades too quickly for roots to be a problem.

I've dabbled with Crazy Colour and Directions, as silently says it gives colour but doesn't mask they grey and it washes out.

Still liking the streaks in my hair and I'm definitely noticing more women not dyeing.

No, I've tried it, I look totally washed out, anaemic, in need of a good steak and a month in the sun.

I need some colour and it doesn't have to be a lot, to look as if I'm still breathing.
