Spray tan during period?

DH and I are going away for a weekend in 2 weeks to celebrate our anniversary, our first child free break in years!

I have a spray tan booked for 2 days before we go but I've just realised that my period is due that week. Is it completely inappropriate to expect my beautician to do it? I can't wear tampons so I wear pads but my period can be quite heavy so I'd feel extremely self conscious of it.

I googled it to see if this has ever been asked on MN before and it hasn't, 😭

I wouldn't if the flow is heavy and you aren't using internal protection.
