The Hush ruched skirt.....

Is really quite awesome isn't it?

I've heard mention of it on here a few times, so picked up a striped one for a song in the sale. It's the most comfortable, flattering thing, and I wish I knew about it at the start of summer, not the end.

I've just bought a black one, for winter.

Random, pointless post really Smile

I have the pale blue one but am waiting for tights season as otherwise my knees will be on show (HORROR).
I prefer the length of the Boden one, but liked the salelicious price of the Hush skirt.
What are you wearing on the top?

I'm ok with knees Smile

The pale blue was a lovely colour, I recall.

I wore a cream layered (god, so useless with descriptions) sleeveless top with it, wore to work, but it's informal at work, and flats.

I have the Boden ruched dress Smile

Who knew ruching was so flattering?

ps - I'm 5ft, I imagine it's really short on tall folk!

I love the ruched skirt, but I'm really disappointed with the new A/W range. I usually lust after loads, but this time it's a bit meh.

Same as mine never. Does it wash well?

Same too re A/W, apart from the ruched skirt. The jersey dresses look nice, but will swamp me, sadly.

Yes, it washes up great :)
I agree about hush AW. There isn't much new styles. It seems the same to me with a different print. Nothing much to get excited over.

I quite like the star print blouse in white. I also like the black scarf with stars and the black skirt that is sheer at the bottom. However it is all a bit pricey atm esp without a discount code.

I too have the Boden ruched dress!
I am tall though so lots of knee on show.
Cream layered top you say....
I got a loose fitting biscuity coloured too to wear with the pale blue skirt but haven't tried it out yet. Will consider cream, hummm...

My alternative is an oversized navy short sleeved shirt from French Connection, works well with a striped skirt at least.

I bought the star print jumper in the sale, the purple colour. It's lovely.

I think I paid £40 for the skirt and jumper in total, bargainous!

I loved the ruched skirt but again not without tights so unfortunately ending up returning and bought the navy Tara dress instead - slightly longer and have worn it umpteen times over the summer.
Just ordered the A/W version in burgundy and the forest green to try, high hopes for it.
Also felt the overall A/W range is a bit meh, which tbh for me is good as have bought so much of late. I quite like the anastasia top but will wait for a discount for that one. ( didn't want to risk the dress going OOS although only planning on hopefully keeping one!)

Do they run discounts often? Love the harem trews for my post pregnancy tummy.

Ooh I love the ruched skirt! I'm new to hush and got the green and the black and they're great. I always get compliments on them and feel fab in them.
I really like some of the AW stuff, especially the grey star jumper. But it's all a bit £££!! Do they often have discount codes? (Please...)

There's normally a code fairly early in the season - I only didn't wait as really want the dress and can't face the daily checking if it goes Oos.

Thanks Inthebath have just reordered, free returns so not too much hassle for a saving - rang Hush but won't cancel first order or reimburse seems daft and no good for carbon footprint! But that's another thread...

The forest green is a delicious colour, so autumnal.

I'm new to Hush also.

Thanks for the discount code which I may put to good use....... I believe they have to refund postage cost under distance selling regs. My knowledge is patchy in this regard, and you have to argue the point, but I think they technically have to at least.

It's actually free delivery and returns so no worries there - just rang again their customer services line and the girl also said it was daft so refunded the difference - good customer service.

I have my eye on the block jumper, but not enough to buy at £90, even with the discount code. I'll chance a sale later in the year.

Long sleeved striped T Shirt lovely though... Smile

Ah, sorry. I haven't ever been given my postage costs with Hush returns, and always mean to argue, and never do....
