Oh goodness I agree with most of these.
Yes yes yes to the wide leg cut off trousers. I look ridiculous at the best of times and those just finish me off and make it look like I'm doing a stint at the circus!!!
Also no visible spare tyres through sheer tops. Do folks really not realise?
I do have a thing for prints. But you have to be so careful how the prints fall. Flowers over each boob for example....
I'm the opposite in the coat department, as I have to have something showing if the coat is knee length or shorter. Otherwise I feel like one of those strippers who is only wearing underwear underneath (bats, I know!).
And any tops that make me look pregnant - you know the ones. They fall oh so gracefully on stick thin folks but anyone with a bit of meat looks like they have a bump to hide.
Yes to the only one pattern at a time. And yes to the only a few colours at a time.
Over where I live (not UK) there was a fashion for weird hemlines and odd patches of fabric stitched on in strange and wonderful ways. It was very wrong and the shops were full of it!
And I do my very best to avoid camel toe or muffin tops.
And my husband wonders why it takes me so long to get dressed in the morning. He doesn't have rules, he can't understand the rules. I want to be a man.
