New fit flops cutting my feet

I'm having foot issues (hallux limitus, in case you're interested), so I bought some fit flops to give my feet a break. The soles feel like walking on pillows but after a 30 min stroll in them the top have made a nasty cut across the bridge of my foot. I want to cry, even shoes recommended for post op are not right on my weird feet. Is there anything I can do to fix them?

I bought some from clarks, v comfortable, with adjustable strap. The v expensive violins I bought cut the top of my foot.

Try a different style. The kys ones are soft on the top and amazing to wear. Lots of different styles. You just need to find another style. Expensive but I buy on eBay or Amazon and get good deals

My fit flops hurt me too. They are sitting in the cupboard unworn. My mum cut hers, a little slice to let it give a bit. Mine hurt on the toe post though, so I don't think I can do anything about that sadly.

Which ff did you buy? Some do take a bit of wearing to soften.

They might just need to soften - use some Boots blister stick or Lancane anti chafing gel where they rub and see if that helps.

I don't know if they are suitable for you but I have found Sketchers Go Walk to be the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. I also have FitFlop Mary-Jane style shoes which are very comfortable (although I find the plastic inner sole gives me blisters if I ware them with bare feet).
