I need to know your best ever intensive conditioner or mask.

I've gone au naturel aka totally grey and while I actually love how it looks, the texture of my hair has changed as well. From thick but soft and glossy to very dry and a bit coarse.

I use purple shampoo and conditioner once a week and they really help the colour but have a mega drying effect.

I want a super effective and intensive conditioning treatment that will leave my hair soft and smooth. .
Even the Moroccan oil that I've used for years doesn't work anymore.

Only criteria is not Kerastese as I've tried lots of their conditioners and found them a bit shit.

Anyone?

I've used this stuff on my quite dry/coarse/damaged hair and found it good (I used the shampoo as well though)

I need to know your best ever intensive conditioner or mask.

I like Pantene repair and protect intensive hair mask or Tresemme specialist Oleo Radiance mask. Anything with Argan oil is brilliant for softness and shine.
My tip is to comb it through damp hair and stick a shower cap and towel turban on top for an hour as an at home treatment.

I love using purple toners too but most of them are drying. I found one in Boots, Lee Stafford Bleach blonde purple shampoo (ok to use on grey or white). It's the only one that leaves my hair soft and shiny afterwards as it has conditioning agents in it.

Olive oil - used before shampooing, better than coconut oil on my hair. Needs a few shampoos, but great.

Very similar to you my hair used to be very soft and sleek but as time went on it became more unmanageable. Much dryer and more coarse and it was such a nightmare, as soon as I went outside my hair resembled a bush no matter how hard I tried! I swapped to pureology hydrate at my hairdressers recommendation. It has changed my hair so much! It is now Soft and actually resembles a style :) it sounds terribly vain but some days my hair would reduce me to tears as it was so frustrating, I constantly looked like I was battling gale force winds when everyone else looked well groomed.. It is bloody expensive though but one bottle of shampoo and conditioner lasted me about 3 months and I also use the mask once a week. I would really recommend it OP!

Thanks all.

I'm not keen on trying olive oil as I fear it could yellow my silver. Didn't get on with coconut oil at all.

Have also tried the Elasticiser but didn't see any result.

Will research your other suggestions.

I've tried so so many. Only thing that truly works for me is pure argon oil mixed in my conditioner as a pre-soak. Hydrates my hair and smooths frizz.

Not a mask but it really does tame the frizz and leave hair smooth and silky- John Masters Sweet Orange and Silk Styling Gel. bit brushed through whilst hair is wet makes a huge difference.

Bleach London deep conditioner/ hair mask from Boots. I bleached my hair for years and it's a miracle worker even now just on my natural hair! Leaves it super soft and shiny

Okay I have tried so many, including many of the above.

This stuff is the absolute bomb mask

Add a large blob to your conditioner. I (used to) have thick, coarse, frizzy pale blonde hair. Now it is blonde and shiny.

Believe it or not V05 hot oil pre-shampooing works best for coarse hair I find.

Also a good diet helps, apples & walnuts every day gives glossy hair Star tip

A hairdresser in a very high end salon recommended V05 hot oil treatment to me before in a very hushed tone

I think she only did so as she could see a mile off that I was not a regular customer and wouldn't be buying the very high end products.
