Is this heat making anyone else feel fat?

I've gained weight since last summer,it's been nicely tucked away in my jeans and jumper but now I'm feeling like a flabby, sweaty sausage. Nothing fits,I don't like my thighs,I don't like my arms-doesn't leave much choice for summer attire. I've got a few maxi dresses but they feel ott for the school run. I just feel horrible!

Use it as a kick start for a healthier routine
Could you download a fitness app to track footsteps, that sort of thing usually motivates me
Use the hot weather to eat salads , fruit etc, stodge makes me hotter

It's definitely given me some motivation to lose the weight,I'm not a big water but I'm obviously not exercising enough. It's the fat making me feel fat isn't it!!

Me, I feel your pain. I feel fat and sweaty and can't hold my stomach in any more.
I'm trying to convince myself that I want fruit and salad for every meal, but it's not going well.
All of my summer clothes feel slightly uncomfortable and highlight my lumps and bumps.

I lost weight last year by cutting back on snacking, eating sensibly, no booze Monday to Friday, upping my activity level -cycling instead of sitting at my office desk for lunch hour etc. I felt great in my summer clothes and had to chuck out most of my wardrobe as it didn't fit. This year, I've gradually put a bit of weight back on, the clothes still fit but look awful, so I'm back in attack mode. I think summer is the time when just a few extra pounds plus untoned bodies really show up. I also felt more energetic so it really is a win-win!

Yea, I am snacking all the time as I am too hot to cook. Of course, I'm not snacking on anything remotely healthy. I'm snacking in ice cream and pastries and milkshakes.
