Full body spanx???

Well, maybe not quite full body, but knee to ribcage?

In a few weeks I will be Maid of Honour, and the dress the bride has picked is totally gorgeous. I'm a size 8 (top) - 10 (bottom), and whilst I'm ok with my size, I'm rather bumpy and wobbly since having had DC.

The dress is not forgiving at all! I tried it on with an old pair of spanx I have that is like a strapless mini dress, and it sorts it all out, but the dress is far too uncomfortable. It is too small now (I bought it when I was a 6-8, not an 8-10), so the "skirt bit" rolls up, and it isn't really long enough to cover my thigh bumps.

So, I was wondering if there is anything that goes from around the knees to the ribcage, almost high waisted cycling shorts?

Any recommendations would be amazing!

Thanks Flowers

You want Higher Power Spanx. I have a nude pair and a black pair. They're fab. Hold me in very well, not restricting (I bought size A, I am a size 10), I wear them all day.

I recently wore spanx pants with this over the top, all lumps and bumps vanished (I was a 10 at the time and have had x4 DC so there was quite a few lumps to hide!).

Oh soooo watching. I have a formal ball to go to in a few weeks and need some of these

Has anyone ever worn the padded bum shorts before?

Oh, tidy they look almost perfect! I wonder if there is anything like that, but slightly longer in the leg? I'm slightly concerned about an inverse muffin top above the knees Blush

Can't have any straps due to the design of the dress unfortunately life

Never even seen padded bum shorts! I've more than enough in that area. Not sure if want to contribute more Blush

Team, they're OK on the leg, honst. They don't grip on the knee like cycling shorts do. They're quite soft. Mine are years old now, so they're this shape but I think there is more control in the newer version. Wouldn't be without them.

Fab, ok, thanks! I'll give them a try. Fingers crossed they can create some sort of miracle!

Queen - If you'd like some of my bum, I'm very happy to share. I have more than enough Grin
