Not sure about the cut out bits. I'm 41

My DD has one similar. She's 15! Depends what body you have and how it looks on you?

I'm a straight up and down size 8 (although this is a 10 and fits perfectly). It looks nice (needs smooth pants!) just not sure about the holes

Meh.
Do you like it?
Will it fit you?
Will it be comfortable?
If yes, wear it!

DerelictMyBalls Sat 16-Jul-16 11:24:55

I don't think you are too old.

AngelsWithFilthySouls Sat 16-Jul-16 11:29:15

I literally just text my sister the same question (I'm just about to turn 30), although my cut out bits are more cut out and at the side IYSWIM.

I don't think you're too old that dress, go for it.

I'm 39 and would wear that in a heartbeat. It's fabulous. Just keep the make-up, hair and shoes simple.

If it looks & feels good on defo wear it! I'd say it's evening (clubbing, party etc) and not day wear but you're not too old!

Yep.

I'm around the same age. There is nothing for us in Lipsy. It's more suited to 16 year olds.

I'm thinking Xmas party ( I know it's early but I like to get something reduced, this is half price) and maybe for our cruise in Oct

I don't like cut outs in anything. Possibly acceptable on teens but I think they generally look just a bit tacky.

memyselfandaye Sat 16-Jul-16 15:41:48

I agree with Cakes cut outs are a bit tacky and cheap looking, without them the dress would be fine.

polyhymnia Sat 16-Jul-16 16:15:43

I also agree personally that cutouts in general look tacky not classy but it's you that will be wearing it, so if you fell comfortable in it go for it.

I don't like it at all, sorry. I think it looks cheap.

Marylou2 Sat 16-Jul-16 16:43:17

I'm usually of the "wear what you like" school of thought but not with this dress. The cut outs make it look cheap and I'm sure that isn't the look you're trying to achieve.

dollybird Sat 16-Jul-16 17:04:44

Have tried it on again and decided against. I'm normally in the 'if you don't think "yes i love it" when you first try on don't but' school of thought and I thin my instinct was right

dollybird Sat 16-Jul-16 17:07:15

Buy, not but!

polyhymnia Sat 16-Jul-16 17:08:45

I ass use that if it's from Freemans it will be cheap - they major on budget rather than quality I've always thought. Perhaps if it's not needed till Christmas you could save for something from a higher quality range?

nooddsocksforme Sat 16-Jul-16 21:39:11

if you have the figure wear it . I'm over 50 now and regret the things I didn't wear when I was thin but not brave enough
