Liz Earle perfume - do any smell like the shampoo?

I can't afford to buy and take a risk but I do love Liz Earle .

I am really keen on the smell of the shampoo - do any of the perfumes smell like this? I always get perfume wrong and haven't bought it in years because I never finish a bottle .... I want something that smells pure and fresh , not "perfumey" ... What are they like ?

I don't think any smell like the orange shampoo IMO

If you can't get to a John Lewis (they have Lis Earle in the Newcastle one at least) then go on eBay and you will find people selling 5ml samples of pretty much every perfume going and can def get LE.

That's what I did for DM - she went and bought all 3 LE perfumes anyway (not all at once), my personal favourite is no15 as its more woody/spicy. But it's very dependant on your own skin too so you need to try them yourself

It's not an orange shampoo I have - I think it's some botanical one? I'll go and check ...

No, the fragrances do not smell like the botanical hair and body range. I think the closest one would be the perfume number 1, but is still more citric and less floral than the botanical range scent. Best to try it in store, some John Lewis and Boots stores usually have testers to try.

I love anything Liz Earle, and have just bought No 15 after testing it in Boots.
It's their spicy fragrance, so not like the shampoo, which is quite delicate, but you might like one of the other Botanical Essences, which can also be layered.
Agree it's best to try in store : check if there's a Liz Earle counter in your nearest Boots or John Lewis.
They often have free gift offers with a purchase, too.
