I have a funeral coming up and I need a pratical black dress. If I could use it for work as well that would be good. Size 10/12 above knee length and fitted. I am large of norks so round back best. I'm planning to hit the shops this morning but has anyone for any ideas what's out there? I hate shopping so any help is good. Budget up to 40 if possible

I love my new Boden blackberry dress, I can dress it up or down... trying to find a link, but for some reason I don't see the black available..I only bought it 2 weeks ago!

If you have a BHS near you it's worth popping in as everything is reduced. I got this a few weeks ago and paid about £20 for it, it's probably even less now. Fits beautifully, very flattering

Thank you all, some good ideas. I popped into next earlier but didn't see those dresses so maybe a trip to the big next is in order, which is next too the big asda.

But it's having stuff delivered and taking it back if it's wrong. I'm never at home so packages are a bit of an issue!
