I love them Grin

But wtf do I wear them with?

I own a lovely leather jacket. And a pair of ripped black jeans

Do I need to buy Guns n Roses tshirts now and a choker?

Well my dd has those exact ones!
She wears them with denim shorts, leggings and vest tops with a trilby. But she's 12 so maybe not that Grin
She loves them although I don't think she'll be wearing them much longer as she's outgrowing them Sad

Oh to be 12 again Blush I did have a look at an ancient MN thread - apparently coloured DMs are for children only Blush

I'm 26 on Saturday. Definitely still a child

Brilliant, embrace it!
Dd saw my cousin wearing them, she's 27. She thought they were so cool and asked for them for her birthday. She has also worn them with skinny jeans and oversized jumpers, and once with a floaty dress but she isn't really a dress girl.
Just wear them, they're fun! I am queen of navy and brown (clearly boring at the age of 31 Grin ) but I love seeing people wearing bright colours, so cheery Smile

It's acceptable to go out matching your baby, yes?

i have the same ones and wear them with everything and anything, usually either skinny jeans and a comic tee or a dress and cardigan. You're never too grown up for DM's!

If it was me I'd never wear them (even the darker ones!) but with you with the pink ones (and being younger) I'd wear them with loads:-

Tube skirts (the whistles etc ones)
Breton striped tops
Utility jacket
Navy blazer
Biker jacket
Leggings
Jeans
Dresses
Denim skirts or dresses
Shorts (all kinds)

In fact there's nothing off the top off my head you could NOT wear them with! Go for it!

I have black patent ones and purple ones. I wear them with opaque tights mainly with skirts, shorts, dresses, biker jackets, etc, etc.

I am old - over 40.

I didn't say I or anyone was too old for them - I said a previous MN thread said they were too old

I was just asking what could I wear with them Hmm

I don't think they should be any trickier than a bright pink jumper. You can either keep everything else pretty low key - either smart or casual - and let the docs take centre stage or go all clashy clashy.

They're lovely.

KittyKrap - please link to pewter DMs.
I lived in red ones until I was 30.

DP bought me those for my 40th.

Wear them with pride, OP.

Oops, just RTFT.

Keep everything black or denim and put the boots centre stage, imo.
