Norkulous and nothing to wear

Need some summer clothes including one for a wedding but no dress I try on can contain my 32FF chest and about half the frocks I see couldn't be worn with a bra anyway. I'm sure it didn't used to be this bad. Also what's with all the fucking boxy tops that cut you off at the waist? And the hemlines that go up at the front so you showcase your knees? Are high street designers having a laugh?

I'm a 30J ish and wear dresses pretty much all the time, it is harder to get them to fit but I manage fairly well.

Recent buys have been from Yumi ( house of fraser stock them, they have their own website too), Karen Millen, Lady Vintage, Phase Eight, Pepperberry, French Connection.

Will have a look at those. I like Whistles type stuff but their size 14 is a ridiculous 37" chest Angry

I'm a 32GG/H, size 10/12 and I have just bought a Kaliko dress for a wedding. Suitably roomy! Planet and Precis fit too (Debenhams). They do some nice, modern styles (I'm a bit gothy and well under 40!)

I agree about the bra-free styles abounding though. I haven't gone uncantilevered since I was about 14, when 30Ds suddenly appeared.

Yeah whistles are useless, I ordered a dress from them in a 16 and it was hilariously small in the bust.

Some lovely Baukjen dresses on ebay - their faux wrap jersey tops have very good coverage, so I am assuming their dresses would be good too.

St Bustier is good if you are looking for something special - not cheap, but lovely stuff one day I will own a V Westwood frock
