Leather Jacket (another one). Does it suit me?

Thanks to the other thread I appear to have ordered a leather bike jacket from Jaegar. It is beautifully soft, smells divine and I love it.

However I am totally rubbish at clothes and have no idea if I look OK in it. totally swayed by the look, smell and bargain price. Does it make me look all shoulders? Like a box? Mutton? Have recently embraced the grey hair and feeling a little lost style-wise.

Please - blunt as you like - look OK? Look Crap? Always wanted one, but never owned one. I live in jeans, slouchy jumpers and Vans....

Your verdicts please of S&B gurus.

I think it looks great. Stylish, modern, not too 'trendy'. It looks good with what you're wearing but i think it could go with anything. Good choice

You look great. Really nice. :) And your HOUSE looks great. I long long long to have a house like that. With floors you can actually, you know, SEE. Sigh.

Thank you everyone. Grin

Do you know, even once I had posted the photo I think I was able to "see" a bit clearer - the overall look iyswim rather than that "I am looking at myself in the mirror and therefore will only notice the broad shoulders, the muffin top, the wrinkles, bladeblahdeblah". Looking at a photo - yep - it is OK.

And oooo it is soft. And smells gorgeous. And is so light. I think I may have to treat myself.

And it a design classic - so £ per wear will end up teeny.

I like it but I would probably have gone for a brighter color like this one: wheretoget.it/look/2374790

user I didn't fancy a coloured one. I have various coloured jackets already but did not have anything black in my wardrobe. I think the overall look would benefit from a zing of colour but can add that with accessories (MN scarf anyone?) Not sure I am keen on coloured leather jackets too - reminds me of the '80s first time round.....

Blush thank you for the comments about the room. Can I confess though - tis just because I am as clueless about interior design as fashion - so when we did the house up I couldn't face any more decisions on anything (we had done a whole house renovation). So our bedroom - white paint, white bedlinen, stripped floorboards. The rest of the room still needs work as there are the old spareroom curtains still being a stop-gap 2 years later
