Nice swimwear for the large of nork (and the rest of me!)

Hi

I'm after some nice swimwear for this summer please. I am 34G and a size 14/16. I have looked at Bravissimo and Figleaves and their selections are leaving me a bit cold.

I am fed up with wearing standard swimwear (which doesn't support properly) but also don't want to be uncomfortable.

Please can you lovely people help?

Hi Katharina. No I hadn't as I always think ebay doesn't allow returns. Obviously some sites do! I'll have a look, thanks.

I was rather hoping that someone could tell me a stylish website (that I was previously unaware of) which would solve all my problems.

I'm roughly the same size as you OP and I've bought bikinis/swimsuits from Debenhams, ASOS and Boux Avenue before. Not massively expensive either.

How about curvykate.com (sorry can't do links!) I have a bikini from there and it's a lovely fit.

You need Brastop - nice bra-sized swim wear, various brands, some more sporty than others.

Ive seen Curvy Kate recommended on here before.

For fuller bust swimwear the best sites to try are:

Simply Beach
Airy Mary
Leia Lingerie
Brastop (already mentioned and had a lot of Curvy Kate).

I meant to say that Moontide is lovely quality and they do some styles to G cup. They aren't widely available in UK as it's a New Zealand brand. Have seen some on Simply Beach and Airy Mary though. My one piece g cup from last year is still my favourite and going strong.

Shameless placemarking. It's something I need to sort out too, but not on a Friday morning pre alcohol coffee... I'm a lot bigger than you & it's a nightmare.

I hope you find something that you like & is a good fit 😊

Definitely brastop if you want online. Am also large of nor and buy most of my bras from there. If you want an actual shop I have always found Debenham and house of Fraserburgh have a decent range in store and have occasionally bought from m and s too.

Thanks so much for all your suggestions! It's a nightmare - I see all these lovely strappy numbers and then anything that fits me is vile. I'm determined to find something that doesn't make me just want to hide this summer.

ExtraHot - good luck too!

Just had a look at Bare Necessities as I hadn't heard of it. Found it expensive - especially the British brands on there such as Fantasie. Seems to be about £20 more for Fantasie tankinis than in the UK - presumably because they are imported into the US and back out again.

I love Primadonna, both for lingerie and swimwear. It's £££ though but I only buy it on offer. Sold through Brastop and Rigby&Peller webshops.

I would love to try PrimaDonna swimwear as I know the lingerie is highly rated. Out of my ££ range though. Thanks for the mention of it on Brastop. Hadn't realised they stock it. Will watch for sales.

I'm a similar size to you, OP and I've got this:

airymary.com/collections/swimwear-d-to-hh-cup/products/freya-fever-black-bandeau-bikini-top-to-g-cup

I absolutely love it.
