I'm doing a 22 mile walk for charidy on Saturday. The weather's looking a little iffy. I'd like a lightweight waterproof that I can wear again, preferably in a bright & warm red/green/blue. Budget around £50. Size 12. Any ideas?

It would be worth looking for breathable fabric otherwise you will be a hot sweaty bundle after 22 miles.

The reviews of this one are good, they say it is breathable even though the description doesn't specify. For that price it should be breathable.

Other points - how long do you want it to be? Do you mind getting wet legs?

And 22 miles is quite a long time to be outside - about 5 -6 hours? If it rained steadily, any coat would get sodden, so you might want to consider something for heavy rain like this poncho. Deeply unstylish but it would save you from total saturation.

Thank you. Good point about breathability; will check those out.
