Violet perfume?

Have just found out that Penhaligons have discontinued the Violetta scent. Am bereft!

Any suggestions for replacements? Am looking for as single a note as possible...have tried other violet perfumes before and nearly always the key scent I'm hankering after is lost in lots of others.

The best of violet perfumes is Guerlain Apres L'Ondee - one of the most beautiful scents in the world (and one of the oldest - it was first made in the early 1900s). Description here.

Gosh I love Apres l'Ondee, beautiful violets without being sweet.

I love violets in scent.
As much as I love Library of Fragrance, I'm afraid their violet one wasn't very good. Balmain Jolie Madame has violets in, as does Guerlain Insolence. I use Yardley April Violets alone or layered over perfume that's not violetty enough.

Oh and Pell Wall Deep Purple is violetty. Try the website. They do a good sample service too.

Guerlain Apres l'Ondée is amazing, especially the initial burst of scent when you first put it on. (It reminds me of parma violets though - anyone else remember them? - so I can't wear it, but that's probably true of all violet scents).

Lots of brilliant suggestions, thank you.

Apres L'Ondee sounds gorgeous. I'm actually aiming to smell like parma violets so that's all good Grin

Histoires des Perfumes do a Blanc Violette that is very violet but wearable.
But Kerbside Violet by Lush is amazing, and v Parma-violet!
