is there such a thing as nice cropped trousers/Capri pants?

I looked last year and all I could find were skinny Jean versions which a) somewhat defeats the purpose of trying to have cooler trousers in the summer and b) makes buying them as difficult as buying jeans
Basically I want something to wear day to day in hot weather. I have crap legs so try and avoid shorts and prefer dresses in summer. But I don't fancy flashing everyone on the school run chasing my toddler about!
Any suggestions of what I could wear that is not completely awful!

Gap have some girlfriend chinos or girlfriend jeans, you need to size down though. I am standard size 12 in places like Boden, Warehouse, but size 10 are massive on me.
