Ballet pump type shoes that don't rub or slip off heel?

Does such a shoe exist? I can't wear pointy shoes, ideally need more of a square shape due to my wierd shaped feet! I have a pair of black rocket dog ballet show that don't slip off my heel when I walk but are awful on my little toe! Any suggestions?

I've got a couple of shoe shops and the bps that tend to be the best at staying put are the elasticated ones. We sell them by a brand called K&S, but they're a bit spenny (start at £135). Look much better on the foot than the shelf as they stretch out and you don't get that weird gap when your foot bends as you walk as the elastic takes up the slack. I like some of those!! But yes very pricey! I don't mind spending a bit if they will really last well though. I find it so hard getting shoes to fit my wierd shape feet!

Blue Velvet or French Sole or Russell and Bromley. The more expensive Russell and Bromley pumps are a rounded toe but not pointed. I think they suit most foot shapes. I realise they are expensive, but they last well. For cheaper ones try Office.

I've a clarks pair with an ankle strap. Would that work?

The comfiest ones I have ever had (and I have v odd feet too!) are by Miss Fiori! They're about £4 but are amazing

I adore my vivobarefoot ones. You can often get them reduced on sports pursuit, search the lifestyle section. Or sometimes in old colours on Amazon if you don't fancy paying full price.

The toe box (or whatever it's called) is quite boxy so it's very accommodating. Can't vouch for them staying on your heel but I have 3 pairs and it's not a problem for me. The upper is leather, so can stretch to your foot, plus the bow (at least on past seasons' shoes) can be untied and the cord tightened slightly, if required. The soles are rubber and feel very cushioned - they're probably the closest ballet pumps can feel to wearing trainers.

If you buy a pair and they suit you and you want to buy another pair, bear in mind that Clarks bring out different colours every season so you can often find pairs of past seasons' colours reduced online. I bought my fourth pair this morning...

I have three pairs from there, v comfy, and stay on well. I bought them for a holiday thinking they'd be trashed on the beach but they're still going strong a year later.

They're £8 a pair (or £4 if you get them in the sale like I did). Think they do pretty much the same ones each year.

I have posted on here about them but Repetto is your friend. I lashed out on their ballet pumps once and now all others are ruined for me. Totally soft beautiful leather and 100% worth the money I have 7 pairs

Try Gabor they do lots of ballet type and the are very comfortable and beautifully made.

Wow Iv not heard of half of these brands! (Obv I have Clarkes ) are they v expensive?

I had the same issue (wide toes, narrow heels) and the solution for me was Primark. With those gel heel grips you can stick inside, if necessary. I had thought they would be skimpy but actually they're quite wide on the toe / ball of the foot.

I have wide feet and can't wear pointy toes, but I love Deichmann ballerinas, they are great value, loads of designs and the round toed ones are so comfy. I've not had a problem keeping them on but they do sell grips for inside the heels if needed.

I got a pair of butterfly twists (usually £30-40) foe £9.99 at tkmaxx this week, they have the elastic around the edges and are really comfortable :)
