Please help me find summer shoes!

I have this nightmare every summer, I find it impossible to find nice summer shoes. I have quite a few criteria which is where the trouble starts!
i have wide Boaty McBoat feet so can't wear any standard ballerina type pumps, believe me I've tried millions of pairs on! I can't wear flip flops because I find the toe post really painful. Most strappy sandals seem to have a strap across just under your toes - unfortunately I also have bunions so those are a no-no too, unless the strap is made of soft fabric.
They must be flat, don't wear heels at all.
I don't mind really what type of shoe they are at all, pretty colours would be nice but I get so desperate each year I just wear boring walking sandals, so anything else comfortable would be OK.

I can't help, but bumping/place marking as I have similar issues and have been searching for a while without any luck. I'm previous summers I've gone for debenhams shoes as they have a good variety of wide for shoes, but the quality has been rubbish recently and they haven't lasted.

Bit divisive on S&B, but I love Toms. Very comfortable and breathable.

How wide are they ajp? I usually wear E fitting shoes, but it does depend on the style.

Sympathies from a fellow BoatyMcBoat feet. I can't do strappy toes at all as they always rub. Wondering about ordering some of these though possibly not in custard colour.

From a fellow Bigfoot, these are my favourite ever sandals! What to do is get them wet the first time you put them on and wear them until they are dry. They will mould to your feet and you will prance joyously through summer!

Great big feet here- saltwater sandals and Birkenstocks are way to go ( birkies with straight band so no toe post)

Thanks for the suggestions, I'm going to order some of the saltwater sandals, floral print or hot pink?
I also found that new look had quite a good selection of cheap wide fitting sandals and I've ordered 5 pairs from there, some espadrilles, ballet pumps, moccasins etc. There must be something in that lot that'll suit!

Might be too late to this thread ET, but just to put a word in for camper right sandals http://m.camper.com/en_GB/eshop/producto.xhtml?option=21735-008&gclid=CL785OG-x8wCFYIW0wodtVkHsQ&gclsrc=aw.ds

I have them in pale green and they are the comfiest shoes I've ever owned, the strap is wide and soft so doesn't cut in or rub

I have just ordered some crocs sandals after looking at these recommendations.
I too have problematic feet and have several pairs of shoes I can't wear. I dread summer because comfy sandals are so hard to find.

I am hopeful ...

Saltwater sandalsare great for my wide feet and seriously comfortable.

Floral print, definitely OP! I have the classy but quite staid tan ones, and have been pondering getting a second pair, possibly metallic.

The saltwater sandals have arrived today. They are beautiful but tight across the width (told you I have boat feet!). Will they stretch if I do the get-them-wet thing or does that only make them shrink? They are very stiff so I can imagine they would feel much better when they are worn in a bit

Yes, they loosen up, there used to be a note on the box lid about how to widen them. Is that still there?

Oh yes hadn't noticed that, it just says to pull them apart a bit, then about getting them wet while wearing them. It does say they shouldn't be over-sized when fitted, which makes me think the wetting will just shrink them! Hmm, might email their customer services.

The wetting will definitely not shrink them. I wore them straight from the box and they felt tight, and I got a small blister. Once I checked the box and wet them properly, I wore them till they were dry and they relaxed perfectly.

I've decided to return the saltwater sandals as I'm not convinced they will stretch enough to fit me and don't want to take a chance and then not be able to return them!
I've found these though, which are wide and comfy (and cheap!) so I'm making do with these for now.
