Help me accept my moles or cover them?!

As title says, I'm covered. I don't mind the ones on my body but have st least 20 on my face - most are raised and vary in size and are all brown. Worst thing is that I'm getting more :( I absolutely despise them. I get so depressed when I look at myself in a mirror - they all have hair growing out of them which I pluck. But they're just hideous.
Can I cover them with anything to at least take the colour of them away? I've contemplated trying to freeze them off with wart remover but guessing that's not a great thing to do. Nhs won't remove for cosmetic reasons and that's all this is. I'm so worried about getting more and more, and them getting fatter and more awful. I need to do something! Or somehow get over them.

I had some removed from my face on the nhs years ago. I developed more over the years and I went to my GP and got a referral to a private dermatologist who took more off.

It cost a few hundred pounds and was well with it for the effect. Some were shaved off and others were cut out and stitched. I have slight scars but hardly noticeable. It was so worth it and I had almost forgotten about it till I read your post. Facial moles are quite unsightly, well mine were, and I would have been very self-conscious if I had had to live with them. Can you afford to have them removed privately?

Oh just remembered I had five removed from my stomach and back recently and my GP did that on the nhs in a half hour appointment in the surgery. A GP might not do facial ones but it's worth asking.

Also some beauticians/therapists do them these days.

Just reread your post and you ask what could cover them. I could only cover a few of the lighter ones with extra concealer. I wouldn't bother but would definitely splash out and get them removed as I understand how it makes you feel.

I don't have the money to get them removed permanently and can't see a time in the future that I will :( I'm contemplating finance. How did you go about finding someone private?

I went to the GP and they wrote me a referral letter. I dont think it would be an extortionate amount and tbh it's worth it.

Can you stress to your GP how your appearance is affecting you eg stress, lack of confidence. When I had the biggest and darkest ones removed on the nhs there was a waiting list of about six months. If you have so many I don't think it's just cosmetic, it must really be affecting your wellbeing.
