He wants to UNDRESS ME!!!

So, after a couple of years in the wilderness I have met someone wonderful. He's not local, but we've had a lot of calls and a couple of dates. We are meeting up in a few weeks for an overnight stay. CAN'T WAIT!
He said he wants to "undress me", and I can't stop thinking about what to wear. I want to be unwrapped like a present :) am at target weight and have been princessing for months. I feel fabulous!
A friend suggested a wrap dress but after a bit of searching things are either too workwear, matronly or floral.
Ideas, please xxx

Just get a nice dress with a long zip down the back which slides off seductively once opened.
I'd be more bothered about underwear tbh!

Ps: 5'7", 10-12, good legs, apple-shaped, brown messy bob hair. Sorry for shouting in the title. Over-excited. Need to work on my cool, unattainable ice-queen approach...

Yes, underwear, not looking forward to that. Have just bra-interventioned myself, so will have to find something that only gives me 2 boobs instead of 4...
My back fat has finally receded, 3 years after the last baby, so that should improve the rear view...

Wrap dress is far too corporate and dull. I do like a wrap dress in the right context but it is hardly an exciting thing to wear that will make you feel seductive.

I agree with ijust - you need the most fabulous undergarments and then something silky and slithery that will just shimmy its way off you. Do you think it will be warm enough to do bare legs? Tights might spoil the effect a bit and I don't know how you feel about stockings. Bare legs and a slithery dress that will just fall to the floor with one tweak are the way to go.

This does indeed sound FAB!!! Grin

Ooh you're a slightly taller version of me Smile

I've had the undressing thing recently as well.

I basically started with the underwear. Bought myself a new set after trying on loads and deciding what looked best. MUCH more uncomfortable knickers than I would normally wear but I loved the way they looked so was prepared to suffer.Grin

Then I worked out an outfit with the right criteria
1/ That would work with that underwear. (So didn't need a strapless bra or whatever)
2/ A dress as trousers or skirt can leave that unsightly line around middle when removed.
3/ Made from a fabric that felt nice to the touch.
4/ Long zip.
5/ That didn't look too try-hard!

I tried lots of things on but eventually found the perfect dress in my wardrobe!
(My most flattering style -dropped waist- and in silk. I got it from the White Company but some years ago.)

Also, stockings!

Agree with under garments- I personally love suspenders and stockings and heels, then a slinky dress that slips off from the shoulders/legs and not up and over your head!

Something like this would be perfect!

I don't think you should rule out wrap dresses - there are sexy non corporate options that are beautiful and flattering.

Very pricey, but something like this (in a more reasonable price bracket)

Yes definately not something that goes on/off over your head. Recipe for comedy errors.
I like that dress.

Somerville, excellent check-list.
Nilby & Lurking, good point about not over-the-head removal. It's in three weeks so bare legs are possible in theory, I suppose.
I need a dress with a ZIP, preferably a long one!
