My kids have nicer quality clothes than I have!!!

just folding clothes here and realising mine are all supermarket brands which are old and tatty, while the kids have lovely soft leisurewear from next, M&s etc.
So where oh where can i hope to find some nice hoody tops, comfy clothes etc that have this soft fabric. Also, that doesn't go bally in a few washes?
Do i just zone in on the adult departments of the aforementioned shops or is there something really nice to be found out there?
