I want Botox - any recommendations in the north west? I don't want anything from a nail bar etc. I'm looking for a specialist doctor please. Thx.

Look for dentists - they often do it e.g. Riverside Dental in Nantwich

Where are you in the NW? The lip doctor is very good in Liverpool. He was previously a GP. I don't think I'd be comfortable with a dentist doing it.

I went to a specialist nurse in Bolton called DermaBella, think she also has a practice at Spire Hospital in Manchestee

Ginorwine have you used this doctor yourself? I'd prefer to avoid dentists too! Heard too many stories.

This thread title reads like a weather warning.

Sorry, it made me. :o

Mistress ha, yes, you're right, I'd not noticed that before- "and in tonight's weather we have Botox in the north west with occasional lip fillers in the peaks"

I use Skinviva in Manchester, it's at the bottom of Deansgate. They only have qualified GP's and you can pay monthly by Direct Debit, which I prefer, as it makes it easier to budget. They are really good and will tell you honestly if you don't need treatment.

That's great to hear Ratty, I could really do with the direct debit option but have been nervous about changing clinic. Which doctor would you recommend?

Dr robin stones at courthouse clinic in wilmslow. I've had it done with a few different people and he is by far the best. He's a also a dermatologist. He asked me exactly what I wanted (no wrinkles but still some movement) and he gave me precisely that. Can't rate him enough!

Sorry about the late reply. I have used numerous Dr's they are all good but Dr Tim is the Dr who founded the Company and is a lovely man, he does a lot of work on celebs but has never made me feel less alone important than the "stars" he works on, last time we talked about my dogs and space exploration ! There is usually wait to see him but for a first appointment he will be totally honest and explain what you need and never recommends work you don't need done. The have a brilliant website (can't do links, sorry) but it's just Skinviva and gives all the prices (which many don't) and explains the Direct Debit plan. Anything else, please ask. I don't work for them but have seen friends bad Botox and fillers from hairdressers, dentists, beauticians etc and would love only ever let a qualified Dr loose on my face !
