Moving on from glycolic pads

I've been using the Nip Fab Glycolic pads and my skin seems to get along with it and has improved.

Would I now be better off buying a bottle of glycolic acid rather than using the pads?

I'm not sure what or where to buy?! Confused

If you're skin has improved, why do you want to change your toner? Did you just want to get something a bit stronger? The Nip+Fab Extreme Night (ignore the "Night" bit. Fine to use in the day) are 5% glycolic, as is PIxi Glow Tonic (but the latter much pricier, and the former has other acids in as well).

In what way has your skin improved? Never used glycolic acid or other.

Just a bit clearer, smoother, hydrated.

I just wondered if it was more cost effective to buy a bottle of acid toner than the pads. I try to get them when they are on offer but I wondered if a bottle worked out cheaper and would last longer. Also wondered about increasing the strength.

I have quite a few acids and I use different ones all the time, so it's hard to say about usage. If you did buy a bottle use cotton pads, rather than balls to apply as they soak up so much product.

Forgot to say, Bravura also do a 5% glycolic which is cheaper than the Pixi. If you are used to the acid now you would probably be okay to take it up a notch to see if you notice a further improvement. It depends if there are still issues with your skin that could benefit from a stronger acid.

Olay Regenerist Night Renewal Elixir is a serum and it is 10% glycolic acid. It is great for night time use and not too expensive - lasts ages.
