Can anyone advise on some nice products for nearly 11yo dd?

She has only ever washed her face in water to date, but I'm thinking she needs to start using something else. Her skin tends to be quite dry, with a tendency towards eczema, so needs to be gentle. And preferably something that will appeal to her so that she actually uses it regularly!

Any suggestions welcome!

One of mine likes the superdrug hot cloth radiance cleanser - they particularly like it because it doesn't foam and get in their eyes

Thanks for that suggestion hey, might go and have a look in superdrug today then.

I would use a ph neutral cleanser so it doesn't effect her skin's natural ph balance, Cerave is good.

My daughter uses a bubble net which makes it nice and fun and effective!

Both of our DDs (11 and 14) use the Superdrug radiance hot cloth cleanser as already mentioned and love it.

Also meant to add that DD2 is using Aveeno moisturiser as it's very gentle.

Have a look at the Amie range in JL/waitrose/online.

Designed for young skins, low in nasties, gentle on skin

Ds10 has a couple of blackheads around his nose and I was thinking the other day that I should get him something.

Can anyone recommend something that would appeal to a boy?

Fairy dd also uses the Dermalogica clear start range for young skin and it is very, very good, cleared her skin up when she had a lot of spots.

They do a range of products.

I bought them from here

Fairy my teenage DB has the Simple skincare range, he likes it because the packaging is green and therefore doesn't look 'girly'! I used to have horrific acne and swear by neutrogena, the pink one is supposed to be the best for blackheads but the green one is brilliant too if he isn't keen on pink!

Thanks for the recommendations. I mentioned to him about washing his face properly and he looked at me like I was some sort of alien, could be in for a struggle grin

Is the super drug one a cheaper version of the Liz Earle one?

DD,9, uses Avene Gentle Gel cleanser and then the water spray and their moisturiser. Works well for her.

My 13 and 17 year old use Cetaphil.
