What to wear with this dress to a summer wedding?

First post although long time lurker on mumsnet. I've found a dress that I love to wear to a wedding in June but have no idea what to put with it

I'm late twenties, size 10/12 with dark blonde hair. I'm trying to find shoes, a bag and maybe a blazer? Or something to wear on top but am absolutely clueless so any suggestions would be brilliant.

Oh sorry but it is horrid.

I think the boots look terrible with it in that photo. I think it needs more delicate sandals - I would say either gold or something with some colour. Will you wear a hat or something in your hair? The dress just needs brightening up with accessories.

OK I am an idiot. I think this is the thread I saw!

I really like the dress! Agree strappy sandals for sure and probably cream bag and jacket.

Yes, I like it too.

I think a jacket might be tricky with the little sleeves - may well rumple and sit wrong.

I'd be tempted to try it with gold. these are lovely. These too. these too if you'd prefer something lighter

I would try Navy shoes, jacket and bag. But I am a bit boring!

this bag is nice but better not to match with shoes.

Navy blue accessories!

It's nice but colour wise it would be better on darker skin tones. If you are a black/Asian girl it would look stunning, not so much on very very fair skin (like the model they seem to have chosen!!)

Thank you intothefire and I love. I'be been looking at nude shoes so far but will definitely have a look at some gold (wasn't sure as I don't really wear any gold jewellery but maybe this is a good excuse for something new.)

Kirriemuir I agree it does look shit in that picture but I really like it in the flesh just unsure of what to wear with it.

Thank you mrslettuce I'm struggling to make to shoe links work but the bag is definitely the kind of thing I was after. Ideally I'd like to spend under £150 for bag, shoes and jacket but could go a little over.

The Zara sandals link seems to work but ASOS is being annoying with links ATM. Was the 'Faith Libertine Gold Mid Heel Barely There Sandals' there. I'd not put the bag with them though - they'd not match well enough / be different enough to work.

The Mango jacket would work really well, if a jacket will sit right on the shoulders.

Oh. I linked the zara sandals twice by the way. Got confused!

MrsLettuce you are GOOD at this. The jacket is gorgeous (I needed one just like that recently, also for a wedding) and I reckon could fit ok over the shoulder frill detail.

Spud incidentally, the bridesmaids at the wedding I was at were wearing that colour (completely different style, your is in no way bridesmaid-like) and it did look beautiful and classy.

They looked wearable to me too.

About to blush my way to bed Blush Crikey

Saw these earrings that would work with the teeny 60s vibe you'd get with the dress and shoes (and the jacket I keep going on about too, actually). bracelet
