Contour for pale skin with redness

Can anyone recommend a decent contour colour (cream or powder not bothered) for pale skin that has quite a lot of cheek redness? (I know that sounds like a contradiction in terms but I am very pale but have a lot of old acne scars which have left my cheeks quite red looking)

Any bronze shades I use seem to just make me look more ruddy than anything or very orange.

I usually try to take the redness down by using foundation and concealer and then want to add contour on top.

Do you think a more ashy / grey tone would work as opposed to a brown contour shade?

Anyone have any recommendations ?
