I have the ruched/tube skirt; what do I wear with it?

I saw the tube skirt recommend on here and I bought it. It's very different to my normal style as it's obviously v fitted and I'd normally wear aline, floaty type skirts.

Anyone help me with styling it?

Thanks very much!

this is the skirt by the way!

I will not be following the fashion advice of Boden and wearing a shirt open to belly button!

Just a close fitting T shirt? Boden do a stretch ruched T shirt that would 'match' or they do a stretchy V neck- the Cora top. Or a close fitting cropped cardi?

You have to review it too you know I've been looking at that but daren't buy without reviews. ;) in particular if true to size i.e. actual measurements. I'm a size 15 in Boden :(

I bought that- but I didn't see it recced on here- did I miss a thread? I am thinking a loose tee, maybe a fine knit- it hasn't arrived yet. Have ordered 2 sizes so will let you know banivani!

I have that skirt. I'll be wearing it with loose-fitting t-shirts or boxy jumpers.

I love a ruched skirt and I snapped up the Boden one while the sale was on.

I normally wear them with a looser fitting top e.g. this kind of thing (which I also got):

Or sometimes if I'm wearing my best uplift bra, I'll go for a mad-men-ish fitted, round neck cardi.

I quite like the "shirt tied at the front" look, just not with all the buttons undone!

Thanks for the ideas!

It's v true to size I'd say to the person who asked.

Yes, true to size but I went for the longer length even though I'm only 5'3 because I wanted to be certain it would finish below the knee - which it does.

Bugger. But keep checking for the next few days - some people will return them.

Yes, they will get more. There was a dress I liked. It was out of stock and then all of a sudden the next day it was back in stock!!!
Try ebay too :)
