Wedding outfit help: what goes with mint green?

I'm going to a fairly swish wedding, and need an outfit in a pale colour (to hide inevitable toddler handprints) that I can breastfeed in relatively easy. I finally found this top, only to realise absolutely nothing goes with it.

I'd prefer to stay away from white, as it's for a wedding, and other than that all I can think of is something in roughly the same colour. But I can't find anything.

I used to have a waist, so A-line skirts would be preferable... am a 14 at the moment.

Please help, or I'll have to start from scratch!

Where did you get the top? Did they show it alongside anything else?

What about this TED BAKER

Love that skirt, Narp.
Elsie's Attic is also good for midi skirts, some with Ted Baker-ish floral prints.
This one would look good: elsiesattic.co.uk/products/parisian-print-midi-skirt?taxon_id=61

The top is from Topshop, they've only got white skirts though. You can't really wear a white skirt to a wedding, can you?

Love the Ted Baker ones, but they're a little out of my budget unfortunately - hoping to find something for £100 or less...

The last two I linked were also John Lewis

I think you could wear a white (or cream?) skirt actually. It would look lovely with the top. I think it is only all-white outfits that you should avoid. Nobody will mistake you for the bride or think that you are trying to upstage her.

However if other posters disagree then I stand corrected!

I'd look like an idiot in the Elsie's Attic one, sorry, but what about this grey tulle from there?

Or will I look like the children's entertainer...?

Ps I love the last Elsie's Attic skirt though - floral would look great with the top!

Hmm.. I would go for something slightly more tailored than the tulle skirt personally.

I love the pink one, but not the grey becauseI really think you need a patterned skirt, or one that matches in colour exactly.

I think a broad striped black and white would look good too, but I can't find one atm

I like the grey tulle, but again, would go for something more tailored.

I'd wear white or cream wide legged trousers, no danger of being accused of upstaging bride and would work well with the fitted top

The Elsie's Attic Ted Baker-look alikes are really lovely, I might just return the fecking top and start again. Onwards and upwards - has anyone seen a navy crop top? Grin

Narp - Elsie's Attic have a broad stripe navy and white that would work:

But I think I prefer the pink floral.

(I don't work for Elsie's attic, btw, just bought a skirt from there for a wedding and I love it!)

Scandi - if the wedding is in Langdale in June you're banned from wearing the pink floral Ted Baker-looky-likey!! Wink

Yes, saw that.

They are lovely skirts and a great price. Would they suit a 5 ft 3 shortarse?

I think you're right about the shape - the tulle won't look great, and I've tried a black pencil skirt but it looks too hard with mint.
