Long smart summer skirt

I'd like a long cool (maybe swishy) summer skirt. In something like a jersey or linen with a comfortable waist. Sightseeing in the city kind of thing. Will probably wearing it with a black vest or tshirt so a bit of colour would be preferable but an oatmeal or white could would too . Had the ideal thing from fat face a few years back but its main colour was navy and it didn't go with anything in my wardrobe. Needs to be a generous 14 or a 16

How about Sea Salt? I got a lovely one in the sale this week. Beautiful fabric and very well made. Was £60 but in the sale for £18.

Following. There are none at Boden or Next.

The Seasalt one is lovely but I wanted something a little longer

Yes I agree I'm was thinking a little longer and bit more statuesque (if you can describe clothes that way GrinGrin).

How about this? Although I know stripes aren't for everyone...

Disclaimer: I'm about to order this so please don't unwittingly tell me it's the vilest thing you've ever seen Grin

The White Company usually have a variety of long skirts. The only one currently is black, but they tend to add more later in the Spring. Also likely to be some from past seasons on Ebay.

Poetry has a couple. I tried one of them and didn't go for it as it's thin material and showed up my bulgy post baby tummy but otherwise very nice fabric and colours.

You could try dying your navy one? Use some black dylon and you may get a blue/black result

minipie Unfortunately in a moment of over zealous clothing pruning I got rid of it. I would probably find a way to make it work if I still had it!!

This grey one from poetry has very nearly the right silhouette, not so keen on the colour. Unfortunately my budget doesn't really stretch that far.

Not so keen on the others. The white crinkle silk is quite nice but not quite what I was thinking of.

Thank you for the Primark suggestion. I picked up a couple from primark today that were just the job. A pink long one and a black and white shorter one
