Mango for leather?

I've been wavering about a leather biker jacket, then I saw this Mango one. I'd have to order online so can't check the quality, or size, so just wondering if anyone has any knowledge of either? Ta.

I've been lusting after that very jacket. I have a black leather jacket from last season and it is exceptionally good quality leather, and even more so for the price . Mango are smallish European sizes so the Xs is really for what passes for a 6 in the uk high street if that helps

Crap, I was hoping someone would say not to go near it! I've just checked my Esprit leather jacket, which is UK 12/D 38, so I'd probably need at least a large, but I'm wearing a size small mango jumper right now. Could I risk a medium?

Get both M and L and return the one that doesn't fit. Their returns are good - I have used both post (to UK I think) and to shop. Both excellent and quick refund. I have had wonderful leather bags but not jackets (yet!)

I've had a mango leather biker jacket for about 12 years and it's still going strong. The leather has worn in a vintage way, but stitching, lining etc all still in great shape.

Of course, that could be different leather, supplier etc than yours but mine is fab.

Can't comment on sizing as I can't remember if I tried other sizes in the shop or not Smile

I've got a mango leather biker jacket . It's an 8 and I'm a 10.. I think they should be we on smaller as you don't do them up and otherwise there is too much material flapping around . I can just about do mine up but would never wear it like that so I think it's the perfect size .

Yep, I've got a mango leather jacket from about 8 years ago which I cannot justify replacing because it's still in such good nick! I'd say the fit is quite small. I have a medium, I'm a 10.

A friend had a mango leather jacket on yesterday, the softest leather in the world - I was very impressed. Not so impressed that they call a size 16 'XXL' - as they come up small i'd need a 16, but blimey ordering an XXL has put me off!

I had to call into our local onmi-mall today, which has a tiny mango outlet. I had presumed it wouldn't carry the lovely jacket, but lo! there it was! It's beautiful, lovely soft leather, good finish. Sizing was good on me, medium was is a fraction too small to close, but perfect for leaving it open. But, sadly, it stops at exactly the wrong point, right on the tip of my hipbone, so it looks terrible. I'm very sad about it Sad
